A façade cladding commissioned by Dior for the renovation of its Sydney flagship store. Spanning 100 metres, the work draws on architectural line drawings to create a trompe l’œil view into the heritage façade, weaving together the maison’s visual codes and spatial motifs. References include the Grand Staircase at 30 Avenue Montaigne, cabochon tiles, moulded moulure details, chandeliers, le médaillon and l’étoile, cannage weave, and Dior grey. The installation operates as both architectural skin and optical threshold, collapsing interior and exterior while translating the house’s historic language into a contemporary urban surface.
