Fruit Song No. 2 was commissioned for the 8th Yokohama Triennale(Wild Grass: Our Lives, 2024) and installed along the 50-metre accessway of Motomachi-Chūkagai Station as a sequence of seven large-scale vinyl panels. Chan painted each fruit on silk using dye and a calligraphy brush, before scanning and digitally composing the images into vibrant, enlarged forms that animate the architectural passageway.

An accompanying audio work, accessible via QR code, extended the installation into a sonic experience. As part of the Triennale program, Chan also presented an intimate live performance at Kakyo Fujo Kai, a community centre founded in 1953, situating the work within a lineage of women-led cultural exchange and collective gathering.
